We chose to raise Berkshire pork because it is incredibly juicy and has a fantastic flavor. It has gained a reputation as being the Kobe Beef of pork, which is to say that it marbles well and is very tender–Mmmm!
What to Order
You can purchase your pasture raised Berkshire pork in two ways. You can purchase cuts by the package–a great way to sample our product before you commit to a larger wholesale order. Find our price list and online order form by clicking here.
You can also buy our pasture raised pork wholesale. When you buy wholesale from a farmer, you buy the whole animal or some portion of it such as a half hog. You pay the farmer based on the weight of the animal after harvest, also known as the hanging weight. A portion of your total will go to the butcher for their cut and wrap services. If you choose to have any meat cured and smoked, there will be an additional charge from the butcher.
Whole Pig
$4.70 per lb hanging weight (estimate 160-210 lbs.) Processing is included*

$4.95 per lb hanging weight (estimate 80-105 lbs) Processing is included*

* The price per pound includes basic cut and wrap services charged by our butcher. If you choose to have any meat cured and smoked or sausages made, there will be an additional charge based on your request. If this is your first time ordering a wholesale hog, we HIGHLY recommend you call and talk to us or our butcher. We are all happy to help you in this process.
When to order
Individual cuts can be ordered at any time, and sold out cuts are listed on our online order form (see below). Wholesale custom orders should be reserved ASAP! We take orders on a first come, first served basis, and reservations fill up fast.

Pickup & Delivery
There are several ways you can get your Ramstead Ranch meats and eggs home:
1) On-farm pickup is a great option, and we love to have the folks who buy our products come see how the animals are raised. We are located at 990 Dennis Rd. Ione, WA, 80 miles north of Spokane on the beautiful International Selkirk Loop. Can’t wait to see you here!
2) We provide seasonal delivery with drop-offs at convenient locations in Clarkston, Newport, Pullman, Spokane, Tri-Cities, Coeur d’Alene, Lewiston, Moscow, and Sandpoint. Click here to get on our email list and receive announcements and information about our deliveries. Order your favorite cuts today, and get them on our next scheduled delivery in your area. When we schedule a delivery we will send email announcements to let you know how, when and where you can pick up your beef, lamb, pork, poultry, and eggs.
3) Meet us at one of our Farmers Market locations to pick up your orders.
In Spokane
– Thursday Market at South Perry: May 5-Oct. 27, 3-7pm every Thursday in the parking lot of The Shop, 924 S. Perry St.
– Thursday Winter Market at South Perry: Closed Spring of 2016–To continue in the fall following the summer market season, Nov. 3-Dec. 22, 3-6pm every Thursday at the Buddhio yoga studio, 915 S. Perry St.
-Petunia’s Marketplace: Tues-Fri 9am-6pm, Sat 10am-4pm at 2010 N. Madison St. Deliveries are made at 1pm on Thursdays, and you can pick your order up at your convenience.
In Sandpoint
-Farmers’ Market at Sandpoint: May 7-Oct 15, 9am-1pm every Saturday at Farmin Park, Third Ave. and Oak St.
